Spark's new custom powder coating system is based on our 9+ years of experience building custom electric bikes. The cost includes shipping both directions, full disassembly, sandblasting old finish, powder coating, and reassembly. Each bike requires about 8 hours labor.

 

The process is as follows:

1) Remove your battery and pack the bike  

  • You can either elect to ship the bike in your own box or have Spark send you a box from BikeFlights.com. 

2) Spark sends you a shipping label and schedules UPS to pickup

  • Once you packed up your bike, you can inform us of the final dimensions.

3) Spark does a full disassembly, completes the powder coating process according to your request, and reassembles.

  •  We can also handle any other additional requests such as new tires and brake pad replacement. These additional requests will be invoiced separately. 

4) Spark packs your bike and ships back to you

 

Please plan on a 4-5 week window the complete the entire process.

Spark has been building custom electric bikes for 9 years in Connecticut. We are now taking this experience and allowing riders from around the country to gain access to our team. Refresh an old bike or make something new. We can powder coat any standard ebike and rebuild it.
